Addis Ababa outfit Ethiopia Bunna came from behind to beat relegation battlers Hadiya Hossana 2-1 in the capital. Both sides came to this game in desperate need of a win.
Hadiya Hossana broke the deadlock in the 19th minute as Endale Debalke struck inside the box to hand Hossana a surprising lead.
The boisterous Ethiopia Bunna fans were seen protesting against the club’s top officials as they demand an immediate reform.
Ethiopia Bunna had to wait till the 59th minute to get the equalizer when Abdulkerim Mohammed slotted home to restore parity. Second half substitute Patrick Benaoune spent a memorable night as he headed home to sink Hossana in the closing stage of the game. The Cameroonian Benaoune has completed his switch to Bunna last January.
The win takes Ethiopia Bunna 7th with 15 points whilst the troubled Hadiya Hossana are rock bottom with 5 points.
