The second day action of game week 21 saw goals late on rescuing a point for Kidus Giorgis and Fasil Kenema.
In the early kickoff bottom placed Hambericho nearly missed on pulling one of the greatest upsets of the season as they conceded in the dying minutes to salvage a disappointing point from Fasil Kenema.
In what was a very interesting game of football filled with goals and drama it was Hambericho who took the early lead through Mikeal Samaki’s own goal but in the 28th minute Natnael G/Giyorgis drew Fasil levell.
After the restart Abduselam Yesuf gave Hambericho the lead against all the odds but with seconds remaining to the final whitsel Fasil Kenema Shemsedin Omer who was had four minutes premier league football under his belt prior to kickoff was the unlikely hero for Fasil Kenema netting the equalizer.
The draw means Fasil Kenema are 6th with 32 points while Hambericho’s survival hopes is vanishing as they remain bottom with just 8 points.
In the box-office clash of game week 21 Amanuel Erbo came to Kidus Giogis rescue as he netted a 95th minute equalizer to salvage a precious draw against Bahir Dar Ketema.
Cherenet Gugsa opened the scoring for Bahir Dar against his former employees in the 30th minute, but deep into second half stoppage time Kidus Giorgis find a way back.
Second half substitute Amanuel Erbo meet Henok Adunga’s delivery to his side’s rescue yet again.
The hard-fought point keeps Kidus Giorgis in the mix as they still remain 3rd with 39 points while Bahir Dar Ketema are 5th with 33 points with a game in hand.
