The opening fixture of game week 21 saw league leaders Ethiopia Nigd Bank pulling a second half comeback to overcome Hawassa Ketema to maintain their spot at the summit of the log.
Hawassa Ketema’s main man Ali Sulieman was once again in the spot light as he scored the opening goal for Hawassa in the 39th minute.
After the restart Simon Peter who was given the nod to start from the onset after a while scored the equalizing goal for Nigd Bank in the 50th minute while Kitika Jima netted the wining goal in the 65th minute to earn Nigd Bank’s 5th win after being trailed.
After the win Ethiopia Nigd Bank remain top whereas Hawassa Ketema are 10th with 26 points.
While in the late kickoff goals in the second half saw Woalita Dicha and Dire Dawa Ketema ending their game in a one all draw.
It was Dire Dawa who took the lead through Carlos Damtew’s successful spot kick while Buzayehu Seifu netted the leveller.
The draw means Dire Dawa Ketema reside 9th with 30 points while Wolaita Dicha remain 11th with 25 points.
