The Ethiopian Football Federation has released the fixtures of the first round of EFF league Cup. The 2015/16 season knockout cup as usual only includes top tier clubs.
The first round games will be played on February 11 and 12. League champions Kidus Giorgis and runner-ups Dedebit automatically qualified for the quarter final. Holders Mekelakeya are up against last season’s semi-finalist Wolaitta Dicha whilst runner-ups Hawassa ketema and Arbaminch Ketema square off in Addis Ababa.
The winner of the Ethiopian Cup will represent Ethiopia in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup.
