Amanuel G/Micheal’s brace sink Ethiopia Bunna while Bereket Desta’s strike was enough to return Mechal back to winning ways.
In the highly anticipated 3 pm kickoff Fasil Kenema outclassed Ethiopia Bunna to inflict their first defeat of the new campaign.
Both sides made a single change in their starting 11 from their last outing, Mesfin Tafesse was on from the start in place of Derik Kakoza for Ethiopia Bunna while the Fasil’s change saw Amanuel G/Micheal coming in place of Natnael G/Giyorgis.
Fasil Kenema were up for the challenge from the get go as their intensity off the ball, quick transition, and superiority on winning first and second balls made things difficult for Ethiopia Bunna.
Amauel G/Micheal was the hero of the day for Fasil as his composed finishes in the 54th and 80th minute were enough to ensure Fasil Kenema registered back-to-back wins.
The win lifted Fasil Kenema into 2nd place with 8 points while Ethiopia Bunna dropped to 6th with 7 points.
In the last match of game week four Mechal edge Wolaita Dicha 1-0 to register their second win of the campaign.
Bereket Desta’s strike in the 35th minute was the difference between the two sides by the end of ninety minutes in a well balanced game of football.
The win meant Mechal returned to winning ways after their opening day win over Hadiya Hossana to increase their point tally to 7 points and climb to 5th in the log while Wolaita Dicha remained 9th with 6 points.
