The early kickoff saw Sidama Bunna’s new head coach Zelalem Shiferaw marking his first game back at the helm with a narrow 1-0 victory over Ethiopia Medin.
In what was the very first game for Zelalem Shiferaw, who was appointed as the new head coach of Sidama Bunna days ago his side made it back to back wins to climb into the 7th spot with 11 points.
Yigezu Bogale who was the league’s top scorer two seasons ago was on for the second half and netted his first goal of the campaign in the 49th minute to seal the victory for his side.
In the late kickoff, Hadiya Hossana got the better of Adama Ketema courtesy of an early strike from Semere Haftay.
Hadiya Hossana under the guidance of Girma Tadesse has now earned two crucial wins against Fasil Kenema and Adama Ketema.
The win saw Hadiya Hossana now on 11 points to climb into 8th position while Adama Ketema remained 5th with 13 points.
