Ethiopia Medhin came from two goals down to earn a hard fought point against Adama Ketema while Hambericho held Ethiopia Bunna in the opening day fixture of game week 15.
In the early kickoff, Gebremedhin Haile’s Ethiopia Medhin escapes another blow as they end the half season with two successive draws, this time they came from behind to rescue a point against Adama Ketema.
Biniyam Ayten grabbed a brace to give Adama Ketema a 2-0 lead coming into the 70th minute but Biruk Mulugeta pulled one back for Medhin and then Yared Darza scored the equalizing goal in the 82nd minute to rescue a point for Medhin who needed to reboot going into the second round.
The draw saw Ethiopia Medhin remaining 13th with 12 points whereas Adama are 6th with 23 points.
In the late kickoff, last placed Hambericho against all the odds shared the spoils with the much improved Ethiopia Bunna.
Following today’s draw Ethiopia Bunna blow their chance of reducing at least the five points difference with league leaders and currently rank 3rd with 26 points while Hambericho finished the round bottom of the log with 7 points.
