Newly promoted Ethiopian Premier League side Gamo Chencha have continued their transfer window activity by securing two key additions ahead of their historic top-flight campaign under head coach Mateos Lema.
The club has finalized the signing of central defender Tukusu Getachew. The defender brings reliable experience in lower leagues having previously featured for Bule Hora, Injibara, and spending last season with Nib.
Joining him in Arba Minch is midfielder Abenezer Hizkiel, who arrives from Sheger City. Developed in the Ethiopia Bunna youth ranks, Abenezer spent the past two seasons at Sheger City. Despite having one year remaining on his previous contract, he reached a mutual termination agreement to join Gamo Chencha’s maiden Premier League campaign.
