Four-star Fasil Kenema humiliated Sidama Bunna while Wolkite Ketema edge past Addis Ababa Ketema in the opening fixtures of game week seven.
The early kick off saw Wolkite Ketema back from that catastrophic game week once again continued their impressive start to the season with a slanderous 1-0 win against Addis Ababa Ketema.
Wolkite Ketema’s skipper Getaneh Kebede headed goal sealed the deal for the visitors, Wolkite are now third in the log with 12 points while Addis Ababa’s unbeaten streak has been halted and they are now sixth with 10 points.
The highly anticipated evening saw Fasil Kenema being too much to handle for Sidama Bunna, as they thrashed them 4-0 to return to winning ways after their recent flip in form.
Alembirhane Yigzaw opened the scoring in the third minute while Amsalu Tilahun and Okiki Afolabi scored in quick succession while Bereket Desta scored the fourth goal in the 47th minute.
The game also witnessed an intensified protest from Sidama Bunna’s fans targeting their head coach Gebremedhin Haile, while in his post match flash interview he candidly stated that the current atmosphere around the club is becoming very negative and he thinks that it is really difficult for him to continue.
Fasil Kenema are once again returned to the summit of the log with 14 points as Sidama Bunna are now 13th with 7 points.
