The 2022/23 Betking Ethiopian premier league resumed today after 47 days break at the Dire Dawa Stadium as the highly anticipated 45th Sheger Derby ended in a one all draw.
The game which was rescheduled three times this season was of a less footballing spectacle as offensive threats were far and few in both halves.
Ethiopia Bunna opened the scoring in the 43rd minute through MohammedNur Nasser courtsey of an error from Kidus Giorgis’s center back Mingote Debebe. But Kidus Giorgis levelled matters in the 73rd minute through Chernet Guggsa.
Following the draw Kidus Giorgis reclaim top spot with 26 points bettering Medhin on goal difference while Ethiopia Bunna reamined 7th with 18 points.
The league would continue tommorow as Wolaita Dicha will host Sidama Bunna at 5pm.
