The second day action of game week 20 saw Ethiopia Bunna and Dire Dawa Ketema winning in a spectacular way.
The 4pm five goals thriller saw Ethiopia Bunna clinching a late victory against Hawassa Ketema.
It was Ethiopia Bunna who were off to a flying start finishing the first half leading 2-0 , thanks to a brace from Mesfin Tafesse who seem to enjoy haunting his boyhood club.
Late in the second half Hawassa Ketema responded in a remarkable manner, Esrael Eshetu pulled one back in the 83rd minute while Abdulbasit Kemal scored what was supposed to be an equalizing goal three minutes into the added minutes.
But the story wasn’t over yet as Ramkel James headed home from Befekadu Alemayehu’s corner kick to end the dramatic game in Ethiopia Bunna’s favour.
The win saw Ethiopia Bunna leapfrogging Fasil to reside 4th spot with 33 points while Hawassa Ketema are 10th with 26 points.
In the late kickoff Dire Dawa Ketema came from a goal down to beat Fasil Kenema 2-1.
Mingote Debebe gave Fasil the early breakthrough in the 13th minute but the second half saw a rejuvenated Dire Dawa side back by their huge crowd turnout scoring twice to ran away with all the three points.
First up it was the imposing Carlos Damtew who find the back of the net in the 73rd minute and then in the space of 3 minutes the defender Mohammed Abdul Ganiyu netted the difference making goal.
The win saw Dire Dawa Ketema moving into 8th place with 29 points while inconsistent Fasil Kenema are 5th with 31 points.
