The last day action of game week 20 saw Hadiya Hossana making it back to back wins while Ethiopia Medhin’s quest for third win of the campaign continues.
The early kickoff saw Hadiya Hossana coming from a goal down to edge Adama Ketema 2-1.
Yosef Tarekegne gave Adama the lead in the 17th minute directly from a wonderful free kick but deep into first half stoppage time Dawa Hotesa pulled one back against his former side.
In the second half Hadiya Hossana were by far the better side of the two playing with swagger, Adama Ketema’s teenager Taye Gashaw was sent of for punching Samuel Yohannes helping Hadiya to increase offensive momentum and eventually find the match wining goal in the 85th minute through Biruk Marcos.
The win means Hadiya Hossana made it back to back wins for the second time this campaign as they level themselves level on 30 points with Adama and leapfrog them to sit on 7th place in the log.
In the late kickoff Sidama Bunna and Ethiopia Medhin played out a frustrating goalless draw.
In the first half both sides had their go at their opponents goal as they created chances after chances but neither failed to find the back of the net, the second half was by far poor from the first forcing the match to end in stalemate.
Thr draw means Sidama Bunna end the game week in 11th place with 24 points while Ethiopia Medhin who are struggling to get the their third win of the campaign are still 13th with 16 points.
