Adama Kenema continued their dominant streak by beating Dashen Beer 2-1 in Adama. A rare Shemkit Gugesa goal gave Dedebit their third victory, the second loss of the campaign for Ethiopia Bunna. Mekelakeya were ruthlessly efficient as they sealed a 3-0 win over Hawassa Kenema.
Adama Kenema added to Dashen Beer’s woes as they condemned them for a third loss in 4 games. Takele Alemayehu handed Adama the lead in the first half. Dashen equalized from the spot in the 76th minute through Togolese striker Edom Housorovi. Midfielder Wondmeneh Zerihun sealed win 7 minutes from time.
Mekelakeya cruised past the ineffective Hawassa Kenema in Addis Ababa. Samuel Taye’s 15th minute goal gave the Army side the lead. Summer arrival Baye Gezaghen took the score beyond Hawassa’s reach as he completed his brace in the second half.
Dedebit shocked Ethiopia Bunna 2-1 in Addis. Henok Mekonnen and Shemeket Gugesa managed to score in the space of five minutes to hand the Blue Armies the lead at half time. Ethiopia Bunna pulled one back in the second half as Cameroonian Yabeun William finds the net. The 28 years old William, who spent two seasons in Algerian sides JSM Béjaïa and Widad Tlemcen, now has 4 goals in his bag.
