Wolkite Ketema are the champions of the inaugural Amhara Bank Tana Cup.
In the highly anticipated final Wolkite Ketema came from a goal down to beat Bul FC and claim the title in what was very a contested final.
Karim Ndugwa gave Bul FC the lead just before halftime but Wolkite Ketema came back stronger with the introduction of their talisman Getaneh Kebede and went on to score twice in quick succession, Samuel Asferi leveled matters in the 52nd minute while their Skipper Getaneh Kebede added another after five minutes.
Bul FC did their best to revert the score but resilient Wolkite hold on to their one goal advantage to claim the title, Ghanian import Wuhab Adams who was integral in their reactive defending in the last 20 minutes was also named player of the match.
Earlier today Gaddafi Modern beat Dire Dawa Ketema to claim the third spot, following the conclusion of the afternoon kickoff prizes were given out to the best’s in the tournament.

Top Scorer – Simon Peter Oketch (Bul FC)
Best Goalkeeper – Jemal Tassew (Wolkite Ketema)
Best Coach – G/Kirstose Birara (Wolkite Ketema)
Sportsmanship Award – Bahirdar Ketema
The final ceremony saw the seven days tournament among six clubs being wrapped with Wolkite Ketema lifting the trophy.
