The third day action of game week four witnessed Kidus Giorgis fighting back to earn a draw against Adama while Hamericho and Hadiya’s quest for three points continued.
In the early kickoff in a clash between Hambericho Durame and Hadiya Hossana, two sides yet to win this season ended in a goalless draw.
The passive encounter where the two sides rarely visited the box has few talking points, Bereket Woldeyohanes’s sending off for decent was the one that caught the eyes.
Following the draw Hambericho Durame and Hadiya Hossana reside 13th and 14th spot with only two points respectively.
In the late kickoff, Kidus Giorgis came from behind to rescue a point against Adama Ketema.
Adama took the breakthrough in the 12th minute as ex-Kidus Giorgis skipper Hayder Sherefa converted from the spot to give his new employees the lead, And also early in the second half William Solomon’s 53rd minute strike doubled their lead.
But for the second week running Kidus Giorgis once again testify why the are the reigning champions as they twice strike deep in the second half to earn a hard fought point against a much improved Adama Ketema side.
Tegenu Teshome pulled one back in the 65th minute and Ghanaian summer import Moses Odoo added another in the 83rd minute to salvage a draw.
Despite the draw Kidus Giorgis who were forced to drop points for the first time this season still remain at the summit of the log with 10 points whereas Adama Ketema are on the 5th spot with 6 points.
