Second day action of game week 28 saw Bahir Dar twice coming from behind to edge Adama while Hadiya run out comfortable winners against Dire.
In the tense early kickoff between two on form teams saw the five goals thriller ending in favour of Bahir Dar at the expense of Adama Ketema.
Elias Legesse gave Adama the early lead as early as the 3rd minute but seven minutes later Yabsera Tesfaye levelled the wave of tana, After the restart Yosef Tarekegne once again put Adama ahead but a late resurgence saw Bahir Dar pulling a come back.
On the 85th minute Wondosen Belete equalized Bahir Dar whereas Fikrue Alemayehu snatched a late winner in the 92nd minute.
The win meant Bahir Dar remain 3rd with 49 points while Adama remain 5th with 44 points.
In the match played under the floodlights Hadiya Hossana comfortably edge Dire Dawa Ketema 3-1.
Girma Bekele, Kaleab Wubshet and Semere Haftay saw Hadiya Hossana maintaining their unbeaten streak while Adnana Meki scored the conciliation goal for Dire late on.
Hadiya’s successive wins mean they are now 9th with 38 points while Dire are 8th with 40 points.
