Wogene Gezahegne’s late strike bounced Ethiopia Medhin back to wining ways after last week’s shock.
In what was a very frustrating afternoon for both sides Ethiopia Medhin made 5 changes from the side that suffered a shocking defeat after a run of six games of purple patch, but the changes doesn’t create the desired
effect.
While Hadiya Hossana who had a good day at the office last time out as they edge Dire Dawa Ketema but failed to keep on their wining momentum as they were poor for much of the 90 minutes.
Late on in the second half Ethiopia Medhin finally find a way to get themselves ahead as Wogene Gezahegne headed home after a rebounded effort from Biruk Mulugeta to seal all the three points for his side.
Following todays victory Ethiopia Medhin have now 40 points and move into 8th place in the log while Hadiya Hossana dropped into 10th place with 38 points.
