Ethio Electric has continued its transfer activity by securing key player renewals and fresh signatures.
Promising attacker Anwar Murad has rejoined Ethio Electric on a two-year deal after spending the last two seasons with Fasil Kenema. Having developed through Ethio Electric’s youth team into the senior squad before his move to Gondar, the forward returns to his parent club to bolster their attack.
Ethio Electric has secured a major boost by extending the contract of lead striker Abel Habtamu for an additional season. The former Batu Ketema, Jimma Aba Jifar, and CBE forward has finished as the team’s top scorer for three consecutive seasons and previously helped guide Ethio Electric to Ethiopian Premier League promotion on two separate occasions.
Building on their current market moves, Ethio Electric confirmed contract extensions for four promising young players. Goalkeeper Kirubel Hailu, midfielder Mukerem Reshid, and left back Natnael Dubale, all promoted from the club’s U-20 team alongside winger Abdulmejid Hussein have signed new deals to remain with the squad.
