Ethiopia Bunna continue to bolster their squad during the transfer window by extending contracts of key players and bringing in new talent. The club has now reached an agreement to sign Rwandan attacker Taiba Mboniyumwami.
Mboniyumwami enjoyed an outstanding final season with his hometown club Marine FC, contributing to 22 goals (17 goals and 5 assists) in 27 matches. His impressive campaign earned him a nomination for Player of the Season in the Rwandan BK Premier League. Ethiopia Bunna successfully beat out Zambian side ZANACO FC to secure his signature.
In addition to signing Mboniyumwamiwho, Ethiopia Bunna has handed a trial to Democratic Republic of Congo midfielder Mavungu Mbelu.
Furthermore, the club recently strengthened its backroom staff by appointing Dr. Leykun Tadesse as the physical trainer and Ambaye Befekadu as the goalkeeping coach. Both staff members previously worked alongside Gebremedhin Haile at Ethiopia Medhin.
