Game week 27 started today with league leaders Kidus Giorgis registering a victory against relegated Legetafo Legedai while Arbamich Ketema were held by Sidama Bunna.
The match week witnessed the return of the 1pm kickoff after the league share company announced that kickoff times are moved to 1pm and 4pm to withstand the effect of heavy rain where it tends to intensify once the sun start to set.
In the early 1 pm kickoff Sidama Bunna and Arbamich Ketema played out a one all draw, Ahmed Hussien put the crocodiles ahead in the 18th minute but an own goal from Asgenafi Fida just before halftime forced the two sides to share the point.
The draw left Arbaminch where they started of in 14th place with 30 points while Sidama Bunna are 9th with 35 points.
In the 4pm kickoff saw league leaders Kidus Giorgis edge Legetafo Legedadi 2-1 to cement their lead at the summit with 4 more games to play for.Leagues top scorer Ismael Oro-Agoro was once again in the score sheet while Hayder Sherefa netted the other.
Following the 2-1 victory the horsemen are now on 58 points sitting 8 points clear of second placed Bahir Dar Kenema.
