In what was a very tense second half Simon Peter and Wondmeneh Dereje were sent off for two yellow cards while Suleiman Hamid was shown a straight red card.
Following today’s victory, Ethiopia Niged Bank reclaims their spot at the summit with 20 points while Ethiopia Bunna under a downward trajectory dropped into 12th place with 8 points.
In the late kickoff, Ethiopia Medhin finally returned to winning ways after six failed attempts by edging Hambericho 2-0.
Ethiopia Medhin who were in desperate need of all three points were forced to wait until the last 10 minutes of normal time to break the deadlock, Chukumeke Godoson and Yared Darza netted in the 80th & 90th creating a sense of relief for Medhin.
