Sidama Bunna returned to winning ways while Shashemene and Adama shared the spoils to wrap up game week 8.
In the early kickoff, Sidama Bunna thrash Wolaita Dicha 4-1 to register their second win of the campaign.
In what was an enjoyable afternoon for Sidama Bunna Habtamu Gezahegne opened the scoring for them with a contender for goal of the season in the 20th minute, Bazabehe Meleyo, Micheal Keporul, and Bulcha Shura added three more goals in the second half for Sidama while Yonatan Elias scored the conciliation goal for Yared Gemechu’s Wolaita Dicha who failed to replicate their impressive performance from last game week.
The second win of the campaign saw Sidama Bunna move into 10th place with 8 points while losers Wolaita Dicha are 7th with 11 points.
Under the lights, Adama Ketema and Shahshemene Ketema played out a one all draw.
Adama Ketema were up front in the 34th minute through Yosef Tarekegne but a much improved second half display from Shashemene Ketema yielded a deserved equalizer in the 83rd minute in the name of Muluken Tariku.
The draw meant Adama Ketema ended game week 8 in 5th place with 13 points while Shashemene Ketema who earned their second point of the campaign moved into 15th place.
