Massive relief for Hawassa as their losing streak come to an end while nothing to separate Wolkite and Adama.
Goals in the early minutes of the first half saw Hawassa Ketema beating Wolaita Dicha 2-1 to halt their five games losing streak.
The youngster Tebarek Hemfamo labored his first goal of the campaign after six hours of playing time while Eyob Alemayehu grabbed his third goal of the campaign in the 26th minute.
Wolaita Dicha had a day off after last weeks plaudits for the bravery they showed in inflicting the first league defeat to league leaders Ethiopia Niged Bank, they were outplayed for the majority of the game but somehow find a way to find a conciliation goal in the 70th minute through Yonatan Elias.
Today’s three points lifted Hawassa Ketema into 11th place with 12 points while Wolaita Dicha as of now remained 6th with 17 points.
Meanwhile in the 6 pm kickoff between two sides in desperate need of three points Wolkite Ketema and Adama Ketema playing out a goalless draw.
