The 2014/15 EFF Cup finalists Hawassa Kenema came to agreement to sign winger Asecahlew Girma. The deal is now conclusive.
Asechalew was a free agent after leaving Ethiopia Bunna on June. Kidus Giorgis tipped to be Asecahlew’s next destination but the proposed deal failed to go through. Asechalew penned to paper a 1 year contract with the South Ethiopian club. It is reported that he will earn 62,000 Birr monthly salary.
Hawassa Kenema head coach Webetu Abate told Soccer Ethiopia the imminent arrival of Asechalew. “We agreed with Asecahlew verbally. As far as I know he will sign today. I can talk more on the details when he officially signs at the Federation.”
Asecahlew, who was born in Bale, joined Addis giants Ethiopia Bunna from Sululeta Kenema in a signing fee worth 300,000 birr. After joining Bunna he made a remarkable change that merited him to be one of the fans favorite. His blistering pace is always astounds spectators.
