Day two action of game week 14 saw Fasil Kenema returning to wining ways, while Hawassa and Bahir Dar shared points.
In the early 4pm kickoff Hawassa Ketema and Bahir Dar Ketema played out a one all draw, Fitsum Tilahun gave “The wave of Tana” the lead in the 31st minute but Mujib Kassim equalized “The Lakers” in the 48th minute.
The result meant Bahir Dar missed the chance to top the league meaning they still remain 3rd with 26 points while Hawassa also remained 6th with 20 points.
In the late kickoff Fasil Kenema beat Ethio Electric 2-1 to return themselves into wining ways after five failed attempts.
Goals in quick succession from Amsalu Tilahun and Natnael G/Giyorgis were enough for Fasil Ketema’s new head coach Ashenafi Bekele to claim his first win at the helm, Abinet Demisse pulled one back for Ethio Electric.
Fasil Ketema following the win moved themselves into 5th spot with 20 points, while strugglers Ethio Electric remained 15th with 8 points.
