Second day action of Match Day 21 fixtures continued with two games that took place at Adama Science and Technology University stadium on Wednesday.
In the first game of the day leaders St. George managed to beat Arbaminch Ketema to keep their march towards retaining the league title. In what a fiercely contested affair Ismael Ouro-Agoro netted the only goal of the game to take his tally to 20 goals. St. George are currently on 48 points which six points above Bahir Dar Ketema, who have a game in hand and the chance to close the gap to three points and keep the title race alive.
The second match of the day saw Fasil Kenema come out victorious against Hawassa Ketema by a single goal to nil. Fasil put on a dominant display but Hawssa also had enough chances to take something out of this game but they were unable to do so. Mohammed Muntari’s own goal was the deciding factor in the game. Fasil Kenema are in 7th place with 30 points while Hawssa are 5th with 31.
