Day two action of game week 28 saw Hadiya Hossana fought back to earn a point while Ali Sulieman inspired Hawassa to a much needed three points.
In the early kickoff Hadiya Hossana fought back from being trailed by three goals to salvage a point against Adama Ketema side playing at their home soil.
Adama were flying high in the early exchange finding Hadiya’s net three times, Dawa Hotessa got a first half brace while Adiss Tesfaye added another in the very first minutes of the second half putting Adama 3-0, But Hadiya Hossana never gave up and started the comeback in the 58 minute through Semere Haftaye’s strike and the man in form Baye Gezaheng added a couple of goals in the 64th and 83rd minute to rescue his side a point.
The draw meant Hadiya Hossana are staying up and currently reside 5th with 40 points while Adama now on 37 points residing 6th spot need two more points to secure their saftey.
In the late kickoff Hawassa Ketema secured back back to wins this time out they edge relegated Ethio Electric 2-1 inspire by the Eritrean import Ali Sulieman.
Ali Sulieman was at the double in scoring in quick succession in the 62nd and 66th minute to put the lakers in commanding seat while Abdurahman Mubarek was on target foe Ethio Electric in the dying minutes of the second half. The win meant Hawassa Ketema are now 4th with 41 points and are mathematically safe of going down.
