Third day action of game week 29 saw relegated Legetafo Legedadi upset Sidama Bunna while Ethiopia Bunna edge Mechal.
In the early kickoff relegated side Legetafo Legedadi who had a single training session with whole squad post Afcon qualifiers stun Sidama Bunna in what was their fourth victory of the campaign.
Carlos Damtew opened the scoring for Legetafo in 21st minute while Amanuel Arebo added another just before halftime, soon after the restart Sulieman Traore gave Legetafo a three goal advantage. But Sidama Bunna late resurgence reduced tge deficit in to a single goal in space of 16 minutes with goals from Yakubu Mohammed and Mehari Mena.
In the late kickoff between two sides who started the campaign with higher expectation but both failed to live up to expectations Ethiopia Bunna edge Mechal 2-1.
Chala Teshita and the man in form Biruk Beyene, who netted in back to back games were on target for Ethiopia Bunna while Samuel Saliso scored the conciliation goal for Mechal.
The win sent Ethiopia Bunna into 4th place with 42 points whereas Fasil Tekalenge’s Mechal are 11th with 37 points.
The remaining fixtures of game week 29 will take place tomorrow at the Adama Science and Technology University Stadium, the early kickoff will witness Kidus Giorgis taking on Hadiya Hossana while Bahir Dar Ketema will be taking on Hawassa Ketema.
