The highly anticipated early kickoff Kidus Giorgis who were in need of a point to secure back to back league title ran out 2-0 winners against Hadiya Hossana to be crowned 2022/23 Betking Ethiopian Premier League Champions.
Goals in each half from Chernet Gugsa and Ismael Oro-Agoro’s 25th goal of the campaign declared Kidus Giorgis as champions.
