The last day action of game week 23 saw Mechal taking advantage of Nigd Bank’s blip while Kidus Giorgis’s dream of third successive premier league glory is slowly fading away.

Meanwhile in the late kickoff Hawassa Ketema came from a goal down to edge Kidus Giorgis 2-1.
First up it was Kidus Giorgis who took the lead early on through Amanuel Erbo while a much improved second half display saw Hawassa earning a deserved comeback in the second half, Ali Sulieman netted tge equalizing goal while Amanuel Gobena’s late strike was enough for Hawassa to began their home town stay with a win.
Following today’s three points Hawassa Ketema move into 9th place with 32 points while Kidus Giorgis who seem in down turn in the crucial moment of the season have dropped in to 4th place with 39 points.
