Newly promoted Gamo Chencha have kicked off their transfer preparations for the upcoming Ethiopian Premier League season by extending the contracts of five key squad members.
The team earned a historic first ever top flight promotion after finishing top of Group A in the 2025/26 Ethiopian Higher League. Moving quickly to preserve their core lineup the club has extended the contracts of Zekarias Tekle, Ako Boka, Zekarias Jobro, Samuel Jagiso, and Yetimgeta Tadesse for additional years.
