Ethiopian football powerhouse Saint George (Kidus Giorgis) has officially reappointed Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic as head coach, marking the Serbian’s third stint at the helm of the country’s most decorated club.
The announcement confirmed during an official press introduction and unveiling ceremony held at the Sheraton Addis Hotel.
Micho has committed to a three-year deal with an option for a further extension. The appointment reunites The Horsemen with the man who presided over one of the most dominant eras in modern Ethiopian football. During his previous spells in Addis Ababa, spanning 2004 to 2006 and 2007 to 2010, he led Saint George to an incredible five Ethiopian Premier League titles, an Ethiopian Cup trophy, and three Super Cup triumphs.
Micho brings a wealth of experience gained over more than two decades in African football. Since arriving on the continent in 2001, the Serbian manager has built a reputation as one of Africa’s most well-traveled coaches.
His extensive club resume includes Zamalek, ES Setif, Al-Hilal, and Orlando Pirates, alongside national team manager roles with Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, and Libya.
