Third day action of game week three saw Ethiopia Medhin and Adama Ketema registering back to back wins after opening day losses.
In the early kickoff, Ethiopia Medhin led by the vastly experienced Gebremedhin Haile thrashed Legetafo Legedai 4-1 in what was a clash between two of the new boys, Habib Kemal, Basiru Omar, Habtamu Shewalem, and Eyob Gebremariam were all on the score sheet for Ethiopia Medhin who collected six points from their last two games after their embarrassing opening day loss at the hands of the title holders. They now climbed to 4th in the log meanwhile Legetafo Legedai who were undefeated coming to this game suffered their first upset in their quest for premier league survival.
In the 4 pm kickoff, Adama Ketema got the better of Hawassa Ketema courtesy of a 60th minute strike from their skipper Dawa Hottesa, Adama currently ranked second with six points while Hawassa’s shaky start continued with two losses in three games.
Game week three will be concluded tomorrow as the lunchtime kickoff will see Dire Dawa Ketema taking on Hadiya Hossana while the clash between Ethiopia Bunna and Wolkite Ketema will conclude the game week.
