The opening day fixture of game week 14 saw league leaders Mechal and Ethiopia Nigd Bank suffering a blow.
In the early kickoff, Sidama Bunna earns a hard fought three points from Ethiopia Nigd Bank.
Nigd Bank started the game brighter and opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Abel Mamush but Bezabeh Meleyo levelled matters moments before the conclusion of the first half.
After a cagey second half display, Sidama Bunna found the match winning miracle in the added minute through Micheal Kiprul to sink Nigd Bank late on.
The win meant a moral lifting one for Sidama after their dreadful recent form, and they now move into 9th place with 18 points while Ethiopia Nigd Bank who now suffered back to back losses for the first time remain 2nd with 29 points.
In the other fixture Ethiopia Bunna thrash Mechal 4-0 to register their third win in a row.
Ethiopia Bunna were hard to catch by for Mechal as they were unplayable throughout the match, Abdulkerim Worku, Mesfin Tafese, MohammedNur Nasser and Anteneh Tefera were all on target for Ethiopia Bunna now moving into 3rd place with 25 points while Mechal now on 30points are expected to finish the game week were they started off in 1st place.
