The last day action of Game wee 8 saw Adama Ketema snatch a late equalizer against Arbaminch Ketama while Sebeta registered the first win of the campaign.
In the early kickoff Arbamich Ketema were denied all three points against Adama Ketema, the Kenyan import Eric Kapaito’s 10th minute strike for Arbamich ketema was supposed to be the difference between the two sides but half time substitute Dawa Hottesa snatched a late equalizer for in the 90 plus minute.
As always Adama Ketema created so many chances but their wastefulness in front of the goal once again hampered them from returning to winning ways, while Arbamich Ketema’s passive approach after taking the lead in the early minutes proved costly.
Arbaminch are now 8th with 11 points while Adama are 11th with 9 points.
In the final fixture of game week 8 Sebeta Ketema quest for their first three points of the campaign came to an end as the 79th minute headed goal from Krizistom Nitambi clinched them the victory and leapfrog Jimma Aba Jiffar in the battle at the bottom of the log.
The game was interrupted for 15 minutes as the stadium floodlight partially shut off in the 25th minute.
Sebeta are still 15th but only a point away from avoiding the drop zone while Jimma are still bottom the log with a solitary point.
