The last two fixtures in the Easter weekend witnessed Wolaita Dicha dropping point yet again while pressure seem to pile on Abraham Mebratu and Bahirdar Ketema as they were held to a one all draw against Mekelakeya.
In the early kickoff, Wolaita Dicha and Sebeta Ketema played out a goalless draw.
A positive reaction was expected from Wolaita Dicha yet to win the last five fixtures, but they were very cautioned in their play. as always sitting deep and allowing Sebeta to have the ball, but Sebeta failed to capitalize on their dominance.
Wolaita Dicha climbed to 3rd with 34 points while Sebeta Ketema are still at the tail of the log with 13 points.
The late kickoff saw two goals in the second half canceling each other as Bahirdar Ketema and Mekelakeya finished their match 1-1.
Fitsum Alemu’s successful spot kick in the 58th minute handed Bahirdar the lead but Addisu Atula’s strike in the 69th minute rescued a point for Mekelakeya.
Bahirdar ketema winless in their last 8 games (except the Wolkite forfeit ) are under massive pressure, they are now with 25 points while Mekelakeya are now 12th with 21 points.
