Sidama Bunna has appointed Wondmagegn Teshome as head coach
Sidama Bunna has announced that Wondmagegn Teshome who spent the past season as interim manager will be in charge of the side on a permanent basis.
Wondmagegn has penned a two-year deal. And this deal comes as a reward after his work to help Sidama finish 3rd in the 2021/22 BetKing Ethiopian Premier League.
Wondmagegn is a former left-back who managed Sidama Bunna’s youth team and also as an assistant to Gebremedhin Haile before the latter got sacked from his post.
Duressa Shubisa has joined Bahir Dar Kenema
The winger has agreed on a two-year deal and joins from Sebeta Kenema. He has been playing for Sebeta for the past two seasons and now he will once again have the chance to work with his former coach Abraham Mebrhatu.
Kidus Giorgis Signs Binyam Belay
Binyam Belay becomes Kidus Giorgis’ second signing of the season as he leaves Mekelakeya to join the Champions on a two-year deal. Binyam started off his career at Nigid Bank and went on to play abroad in which he had a trial at the German club Dynamo Dresden before going on to play in Albania and Sweden.
Ethiopia Bunna makes two more attacking signings
After Abubeker Nassir’s departure Ethiopia Bunna are trying to strengthen their squad, especially in the attacking department. The first signing is Biruk Beyene from Hawassa Ketema who managed to score 14 goals and provide 6 assists for his side in the past season. The second player is also another highly-rated attacker in Chala Teshita who impressed at the u-17 national team level before going on to perform for the club. He comes from Wolkite Ketema where he scored 8 league goals last season.
Bahir Dar Ketema has signed Fistum
The young winger Fistum Tilahun has signed a two year deal with Bahir Dar. He played at Addis Ababa Ketema for the past two seasons.
Hawassa Ketema makes three signings
The former Fasil Kenema striker Mujib Kasim has joined Zeray Mulu’s side on a two year deal. Seid Hassan will also be reunited with Mujib at Hawassa after he finalized his deal. Addisu Atula is the third signing from Mekelakeya.
