Chala Teshita has joined Ethiopia Nigd Bank (CBE) on a two year contract. Chala began his career at Shashemene before came into the spotlight with an impressive performance for the Ethiopian U-17 National Team in 2017. He has featured for Sidama Bunna, Wolkite ketema, and Ethiopia Bunna before spending the last two seasons at Hadiya Hossana.
Eyob Alemayehu, who had verbally agreed to join Welwalo has ultimately opted for the Bankers. Just a week ago, Eyob was set to become Welwalo’s first signing of the summer transfer window. However, he reached an agreement with CBE today. A product of the Wolaita Dicha youth system, Eyob was promoted to their senior team in 2016 and went on to play for Jimma Aba Jifar, Hawassa Ketema, and Hadiya Hossana.
