The Ethiopian Football Federation has officially announced the date and venue for the Walias’ opening Group 10 match in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.
According to the announcement released by the EFF, the Sudanese Football Association selected South Sudan’s Juba National Stadium to host their home fixture. The clash is scheduled to take place on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 7:00 PM Ethiopian time.
Following their opener in Juba, Ethiopia will quickly return home. Having received temporary approval from CAF to host international fixtures on home soil, the Walias are set to welcome Senegal at the Bahir Dar Stadium just four days later.
