The Ethiopian Premier League Share Company has officially confirmed the kickoff date for the upcoming 2026/27 season.
the league administrator states that it has formally notified the clubs that the new campaign is set to begin on October 10, 2026.
The 2025/26 season concluded on July 5, which saw Sidama Bunna secure their historic first ever league title.
The upcoming season will feature 18 clubs, welcoming newly promoted sides Halaba Ketema and Gamo Chencha from the Higher League.
