Day two action of game week 24 saw Bahirdar Ketema hanging on to claim a much needed win while Henok Ayele scored late to deny Addis Ababa going away with a crucial win.
The 10 am kickoff between Addis Ababa Ketema and DireDawa ended in a one all draw after a frantic finale, Richmond Adongo’s strike in the 62nd minute was the difference between both sides going into the additional time.
But Dire left it late as a beautiful cross from the right side was perfectly mate by Henok Ayele seconds prior to the referee blowing the final whistle.
The anticipated lunchtime kickoff saw Bahirdar Ketema escaping Adama with a narrow win thanks to an early minute strike from Temesgen Derese.
