National League semi finalist Halaba Kenema continues to lose first team players. Seven players thus far left Halaba. Eyasu Tamiru joined Addis outfit Ethiopia Bunna whilst Kerim Jemal signed for Wolitta Dicha. Fetudin completed his move to Mekelakeya. National League Best Goalkeeper award recipient Tekelemariam Shanko joined Addis Ababa Ketema while Henok Adugna moves to DireDawa Kenema. Akalu Abera also left Halaba Kenema for Sebeta Kenema.
Halaba’s headcoach Alamerew told Soccer Ethiopia the club will try to fill the void position that is left by the outgoing players. “Seven players left our club. The players played a crucial role in the club’s journey to the National League semi final. I wish them the very best in their future endeavor. We will try to recruit new player for the next season Super League and be more competitive to achieve promotion to the Premier League.” said Coach Alamerew.
