The Ethiopian Football Federation has unveiled National Team kits in an event held at Jupiter Hotel today.
The kit sponsor Umbro has produced home, away and alternate kits in Green, Yellow and Red colors respectively. In addition to that there were clothes made to be worn during meals, polo shirts and tracksuits.
During the event EFF president Esayas Jira said that the kit launch has been delayed due to problems posed by covid issues and that they have been working with Umbro for the last three years.
From now on the Federation will be in charge of distributing the kits. The public will be able to buy 1 kit for the price of 1000 birr. A person can’t buy more than 5 kits.
In a statement released Umbro said that the jerseys are an ode to the colors of the countries national flag and traditional textile patterns known as ‘Tibeb’.
