The first day actions of game week four saw Sidama Bunna and Ethiopia Niged Bank securing vital three points.
In the early kickoff, Sidama Bunna defeated Shashemne Ketema 3-1 to earn their first campaign win, reliving the early pressure from their underperforming squad and head coach Seyoum Kebede.
In what was a very commanding display from Sidama Bunna side goals from their skipper Desta Yohannes from the spot and two late second half strikes from Degefe Alemu and Abebayehu Yohannes were enough for Sidama Bunna meanwhile Eyob Woldemariam scored a late conciliation goal from Shashemne Ketema.
The win means Sidama increasing their point tally to four while Shashemen’s search for points continues as they have none.
In the late kickoff, Ethiopia Niged Bank earned a hard fought three points piping Dire Dawa Ketema 3-2 to claim their second win on the board.
Addis Gidey, Kitika Jimma, and Basiru Umer were on the score sheet for Betselot Leulseged’s men meanwhile Abel Asebe and Carlos Damtew struck in each half for Dire but the goals were not enough to save the day for Dire.
Ethiopia Niged Bank’s new season back in the top flight is shaping up nicely as they now have eight points in four games while Dire ends the day where they left with four points.
