The game had been halted for several minutes due to improper conduct from fans. Fans invaded the pitch barely after the second half kicked off. Ethiopia Bunna continued on their uninspired form outside of Addis Ababa.
Kidus Giorgis snatched a hard fought victory away in ArbaMinch as they cruise past ArbaMinch Ketema 1-0. Adane Girma netted a penalty in the 65th minute to help the Horsemen top the league two points clear of Adama Ketema. The game between ArbaMinch and Giorgis was also temporarily stopped over the awarded penalty.
Elsewhere, Samuel Sanumi’s goal proved enough as Dedebit wiped out Dashen Beer further plunging them to crises. Wolaitta Dicha came from behind to snatch a point against Nigd Bank. Ephrem Ashamo gave Bank the lead. Nonetheless, Anagawe Badege restored parity 8 minutes from time. Mekelakeya ground to a surprise halt at Hossana, failing to break down bottom side Hadiya Hossana.
Kidus Giorgis leads the log table with 22 points. Meanwhile Adama Ketema, with a game in hand, are second with 19. Hadiya Hossana still sits bottom having won only once thus far in this season.
Adane Girma and Samuel Sanumi bagged their seventh goal of the season which tie them with Tafesse Tesfaye in top goal scoring chart.
